I personally don't think we will be in the top eight.Has the squad been improved not in my opinion. We loose a centre we don't replace him.So for for me it's the lottery again. Disagree massively. Our weakest area was the pack last year and watto has strengthen the whole front row. Griffin has gone but after the mpg everyone seems to think he's the best thing since sliced bread. We have people in the team to cover centre and I'm sure if someone becomes available we would look at. We were at top 8 team last year and have added to that. I am delighted it's only been a couple of signings and not wholesale changes for once

Apparently Vidot is looking like a new player the break has done him the world of good, fingers crossed as he was on the sideline 90% of last season I hope we do see his best next year. Looking at clips if him playing in the NRL you wouldn't think it was the same bloke. I know clips don't tell the full story but we've not seen anything like what he is capable of. I've said he was a waste of money but I'll be glad to be proven wrong and will be cheering him on to succeed. He's not a pudding, the injury must have taken a lot out if him on reflection

We could surprise a few this year. The ability of the squad is not in any doubt. They are a cable bunch. The only problem I have is that the teams morale and mentality are a bit up and down. If Watson can keep them focused from game to game then I can see us doing quite well. If key players step-up and become consistent then we'll do well. Players like Dobson, Carney, Vidot, and possibly Brining to have a break-out season. Their is a lot of ifs their.

Any prediction at this time of the year is basically an emotional reflection on your current outlook. Some positive, some negative, and some not willing to commit for lack of information to deduce any outlook.

I voted yes and here's why. Last season we played some great rugby but our packed looked somewhat lightweight - which was proven when we played the likes of hull Catalans etc. This year we have majorly reinforced that area seeing tasi mossop the and the youngster from wire joining our existing forward line and also brinning of course as interchange prop. We've only lost MCB who was injured and couldn't get in the side and of course Josh Griffin who will be a loss but not irreplaceable. I think watto has recruited well and we will squeeze 8th.

I am pleased we have kept the squad together however I am not sure we will the quality in depth to sustain a top 8 finish.

Still a bit early to make an educated guess on where we'll finish next season. I don't think a top 8 finish is completely out of the question though if we can replicate some of the form we showed this season. It's really important that we get off to a good start to build up some confidence going forward. It'd help to avoid a major injury/suspension crisis like the other year, and most importantly, no off-field drama! With a bit of luck, a top 4 place should be cemented by the time our Challenge Cup hangover kicks in at the end of August a la Hull this season...

It'll be a tall order. On results we ended up a top 8 team. We would have also finished above Leeds and Huddersfield. I very much doubt they will be in the same position next season also HKR have been replaced by Leigh who look a better team. We also pulled some great wins out of the fire against teams that we struggle to beat (Leeds, Cas, Saints) and six points against Widnes went a long way towards that top 8 finish. To do that again next season is gonna be hard. All things being equal, I think we're up against it. Looking at it another way, if we're finishing top 8, who will be finishing in the bottom four?

I have a feeling that hope is the result above rather than realistic expectation. And you're right we must hope because otherwise there's no point in waiting for the season to begin.
