Got a few mates coming up from London for the Warrington game, maybe about 10 of them. They will be staying in Manchester City Centre.
Is the 67 bus the best option? Takes almost an hour though! Tram to Eccles and then a cab? Anyone know a cab price from Eccles to Stadium?
Anyone else travel in from Manchester CC on a regular basis offer any better options? I guess I could arrange a mini bus from town.

Get to Eccles and pop into Wetherspoons for a drink. If you call 0161 707 9090 and order a bus they will pick you up outside. Probably best getting dropped off at the motorway roundabout (depends on traffic) and walk the 5 minutes to the new pub next to the stadium.

I'd probably just get a taxi from Manchester straight to the stadium, especially if there's a few of you. An Uber from town to mine in Irlam usually costs about 17 quid in total, so less to the stadium, unless it's doing the annoying surge thing. There's plenty of places to drink in Eccles if you fancy going through that way as mentioned above.
You could always get a train to Irlam from Oxford Road then a 67 or 100 bus up to the stadium, but I'd guess it wouldn't be any quicker than getting the bus all the way from town.
