Id leave cross and especially lafai (who gets through a tonne of work) in, in fact both edges pick themselves for me. This is a real test for the forwards they're gonna have a hard night, but if the weather is ok and we are able to throw it about, coupled with sneyds kicking game I can see us just sneaking it.

According to the forecast weather dry in Hull until the match, but breezy on the day; but it’s only a forecast.

With the bans that Hull have received, a lot of Hull fans are saying that we'll win comfortably.
I'm not too keen on being faves for games. I worry about expectation on a team that aren't used to it.

Unchanged squad which is great, consistency which is something we didn't have last season

You know a town is struggling when the Wetherspoon’s is the best pub….
Victory for Ukraine, victory for Salford!

The good thing is about losing is that you learn a lot. And ev3n more when it’s by a big score Better finding the problems now when it’s early in the season
Was it our pack, poor tackling or just general bad play?

The pack was poor especially when king goes off it was the same last weak. We can’t have a back on the bench along with addy to lightweight and add little impact. Personally I’d have a bench of well Luckely Sita and maybe ormondroyd.

Majority of trys came down sarge side, he went off after a few mins then came back on, Rowley probs look at that and made wrong decision, we didn't let out early pressure count when we couldn't break there defence
Overall I think we got 2 points more than I thought we would have after 3 games, we can't lose next week, not against them

Couldn’t get there today, but had a feeling we’d get a bit of a beating. Other results have show Cas and Toulouse are in poor form and will be towards the bottom of the league, even without Gale Hull are much better, with an established coach who’s been there more than a season. Next week will also be really tough, hudds are better than Hull with a better coach, but it’s a grudge match so who knows. Point being, given where we are ie new coach quite a few new players in important positions, we’re doing well. We can’t get too giddy with wins, or too down with losses. And tbh I’ve been quite surprised that fans even on social media haven’t been kicking off, I fully expected the usual post loss meltdown but not seen that.
Hopefully going to be an interesting season

Looking at the ‘highlights’ the defence seemed to give Hull lots of space to play, we seemed to stand well back, and Brierley seemed really off the pace defensively
Although, of course, only the highlights; don’t think I want to watch the full match

Just watched the highlights. Hull played the sort of attacking moves that we do,when at our best. Their better movement was to their right and I couldn’t see our left centre or left back rower at all. I think Lafai, wearing 4 was actually playing right centre and he’s very promising. Neat break from Croft but,as you say Brierley will be very disappointed with his performance. Bring back Escaré,no not really
