Amazing, I think Thaler, in my view just about the best around, doesn’t have a game this weekend

I think I’d prefer Williams to Burgess as well
And no Ormondroyd who I think gets better with each game
Gerrard seems ok but possibly not fit enough yet
But Greenwood in the second row should make a difference
Forwards? Probably as 8-18 above although Luckely maybe instead of Addy

One or two surprises and ,at this stage and hopefully throughout the season,we just accept what he’s seeing in training and pre season.

This is going to be my first trip to Cas on Friday. Looking for a few tips if you lads can help. Where do you usually park? Any decent boozers nearby? Also wouldn’t mind a tip for a good chippy if you know one. Cheers in advance 👍 Working in Castleford it's like a home game for me!! Haven't checked lately but there's aroundabout where you'd probably turn right onto Wheldon Road. There was chippy on the left with some parking. I'll ask at work and report back. Still there, had a workman in the office today who is a Cas fan. Told me that they are doing street food in/near the ground. I'll leave that choice to others!! |

Surprised Addy is backing up at 9. We are light in the backs with Sarge out and Lafai just coming over but a great chance for Cross. Be interesting to see how they go tonight.

Going ok so far. 20 - 10 up. Close to half time. Tries for Sio, King and Cross. Conversions help too.

Listened to it on Leeds Radio; all our tries were dubious, they should have been awarded more penalties, too many calls went to Salford and finally…it’s the first match of the season, don’t take anything from this and Cas will learn
