See here: Click meA very positive venture going forward. Ipswich Jets are real innovators in RL and well thought of down under. Hoping this will flourish as it can only be a great thing for potential young lads from both sides of the world.

Really positive partnership.👍 After the success with Jacko & Joey (ok they were NRL/fringe NRL players) it shows there are good young players out there in Aus crying out for a chance at the top level.
Whilst it's great getting the odd seasoned NRL pro over here I'm just as excited to see what young player exchanges could do on both sides. Imagine someone like Connor Aspey spending a season over there playing in a feeder comp. I reckon he'd kick on in leaps and bounds and that could only benefit us as a club. Wouldn't cost the club a huge amount as aside from air fares I guess they'd put any players up with local host families.

I wandered over to their website, which is professional, with links to sponsors - looks like they have more than we do - and a news section, but the only mention of Salford comes from 2013 when Lami Tasi, who played for them, joined us.
Perhaps they don't want fellow Australians to know they're in bed with a pom team?
