Get your thermals out again 15th January , I was there last season and it was absolutely freezing. However the coldest preseason friendly I remember is when we played Leigh shortly after they moved to their new ground. That was horrible!

I like Spotland. I've not been for quite a few years, but it was always a decent ground to watch at.

It was cold at Rochdale last year.
One of the coldest games has got to be the first game at the AJ when the pitch was covered in snow and the game should've been called off.

That was cold
The wettest game I remember was leigh away in the championship a few years ago, and for some reason we swapped end at half time to be under no cover.

I remember Batley years ago midweek, it was that cold Terry O'Connor had to get his hair cut at half time as it was frozen solid and people were getting stuck on the M62 in the snow on the way home. Not as cold as Michigan Wolverines V Michigan State in a Big 10 derby in Ann Arbour at the Big House, minus 22, no cover and only 1110,000 people for company. It's as cold as it looks, Go Blue.

Is that a hockey game in a football stadium? I'm not well up on American sport. Brilliant support. It would be nice to pack the AJ Bell out like that. Having said that, can you imagine how long it would take to get a beer? Some experienced bar staff who have seen a beer tap before would be a vast improvement on match days for next year

There's a tailgate party outside before, even in the snow BNW'S and kegs of beer. A massive brass band playing hail to the victors youtu.be/36ZiwoIuMvo

That is indeed, a hockey game. Probably the NHL Winter classic that happens once a year.

Well done, think it was the Red Wings, can't imagine you'd get a good view of what was happening unless you watched the big screen though as the Big House is massive.
