That clip does look like it missed but surely if it did there would have been an appeal from players and boos from the crowd

Maybe we should go for some 'Goalpost technology' to confirm if a goal has been been kicked - i.e. a baggy mist net slung between each post at a £100 a go - far too simple a solution?

The goalposts at the Italy-Wales this weekend were laughable! Seriously, the posts below the crossbar were about as long as those above it! Thank christ the game wasn't decided by a dubious drop goal or conversion as that would have been a sh1te way to miss out on a World Cup. Out of interest, anyone know what the legal mimimum length of the upper posts has to be?
