Three ways governing bodies could save Super League season amid Covid chaos: Increase threshold for postponements, Award walkover wins for every postponed game and backdate and Change play-off qualification criteria.
I have a sneaking feeling these would be good for the Hull clubs.

Understand your thinking but we can at least watch some rugby. The play-off places should been decided in the usual way regardless of postponements as it's clear pot luck will have a big part to play if all games can't be played. Could have produced unlikely contenders making some "dead" games meaningful. Relegation should have been abandoned for the season

Relegation should have been abandoned for the season The idea that someone would be relegated in a season that has almost nothing to do with what happened on the pitch just illustrates what a sacred cow P&R are in british sport. There was a time when Cas were on the outside and invited in for very good reasons and that has always seemed best for RL. It's also funny how whenever there's talk of who shouldn't be in SL, SRD tend to be top of the list. |

I just can’t comprehend how Premier League football with 20 clubs and 38 games each fulfilled their season without any postponements and having to revert to this percentage nonsense. Do I need to say anymore? Make your own minds up I’m sure you are intelligent people. Rugby League the sport that takes your money and can’t be ar$ed unless it suits certain teams at a convenient time. Australia and New Zealand anyone after I paid £80 for a ticket for the final. Sadly the sport in England is well and truly on its backside and those with influential positions and financial self interests in the sport are to blame.

What may make P&R really stupid is Magic Weekend, even with win%, imagine playing some teams 3 times, and some only1,2 or even 0 if cancellations continue. Maybe fixtures at Magic should be reworked to balance an already rocky ship. Also maybe cancellations are not actual covid cases, but all the close contacts having to isolate. Time to 're think!?

Maybe now is the time with the huge reduction in Sky revenue next year for rugby league to go back to semi professional status. Just got to be realistic and accept that players will have to find full-time employment elsewhere and supplement their main job with winning or losing pay.
