And we have a game the following Thursday and then one on the Monday; 3 games in 8 days with a depleted squad, so our disadvantage.
How do they square that up?

Leeds apparently now asked formally for the game to be moved to Sunday.
But up to us, apparently.
Amazing just made arrangements for Friday. Bit late in my view.
We have a depleted squad and then play 3 games in 8 days.

And Salford 2 international duty, 2 suspended, 3 long term injury on Fri; Leeds had 5 out.
So stuff the sport. It's a total joke, as always. No wonder people stop going. See Leigh playing Warrington who have 5 out.
They deserve what they get on Sunday

Unfortunately I tend to agree with my fellow supporters surrounding the moving of this game. Its bad enough trying to get to a game these days and other uncertanties and the whole organisation needs a massive shake up or we me as well just throw the towel in. I cannot tell you what lengths I have made to try and attend the game on Friday...its my weekend of lates so managed to swap shifts on Friday but had to do extra on Sunday....Now its all ballsed up. I know others have intimated disgust etc it really is a joke.

Salford Red Devils director Paul King said: "We’re disappointed with the outcome, we wanted to proceed as planned on Friday having had tickets on sale for a while but unfortunately that was removed as an option for us.
“Ultimately, we had a choice of playing three games over the next eight days or seven games in 28 days in August, which would have put far too much strain on the squad over a prolonged period, we already have a significant injury list.
“We are determined to put player welfare first within the confines of a crowded fixture list and we will continue in our search to bring in players to help increase squad numbers and minimise the risk of further injury.”
Basically it was out of the clubs hands. If Leigh beat a `soft` Wires team then we need a good lawyer to sort it out.

Not going to happen,obviously.
Club did have a choice so it was a judgment call,and they have the info to make that decision.
If we expect players back then,to the uninformed like me,August would’ve made more sense but we trust their judgment.
Ludicrous to clash fixtures like this but again,if I understand correctly,the RFL made it clear this was an international weekend,and the clubs decided to clash

Uncle Gary strikes again.
People like Hetherington strangle our game. He's an individual who will go above and beyond for his own interests, and I say that as someone who's had dealings with him in the past. There isn't much he wont do to keep a leg up on anything he's involved in. While he remains in the game, there will be no equality for clubs.
