Russ I don't know what you know of that situation.But I was told Callum would stay with us but his father wanted salford to take is brother as well Wilkinson would not have that he was not as good.Leeds took the two of them I don't know what happened to the brother.If that story is true and I have know reason to dout who told me.Wilkinson made a call.To be fair Callum would have gone like Steff they had to to develop I am afraid as they say.That's the way the mop flops. |

I didn't mean this to be about Callum but the idea any club was less interested in young talent than any other. There's something quite wrong with McDermott pontificating about this from the position Leeds are in and looking down at others.

Reading McDermott's words it's hard to imagine they're about to announce they've signed Lui but who knows if he is referring to something else.
I wish we were in the position of having two international class half backs who had come through our academy and spent their entire careers with us

Pious little Shih-Tzu is our mate Hetherington.
In the same period he's helped himself to heaps of neighbours team talent.
McDermott 'both', Diskin, Peacock, Moon, Ellis, Hardaker.
They've also happily ditched their home grown talent in favour of big Aus-NZ talent. Especially at 9.
I did find it amusing after this season's home game when we beat them, Hetherington tried to get back in the VIP lounge after the game , the G4S pair on the doors wouldn't let him in. And he literally said, 'Don't you know who I am! ' they said No, should we? He looked towards me for recognition, I just smirked.
