Have Wigan got space on the Salary cap - even if they loaned him to us for the rest of the season who would pick up the wage tab ? They haven't got space on the cap to pay his wages and I doubt we have the finances.

If he’s going to Wigan and they are paying for him why would they not just keep him? I don’t see how we can afford him, more chance of him going to Leigh Derek will pay.

Leeds have stated that he unlikely to sign for them as he wants to be based in the North West when he gets back... he obviously doesn't fancy the commute along the M62

Its a joke I have know idea how Wigan can be under the Salary cap if they land Williams. French and Hastings will be on great money then Bateman is the marquee. I get Leeds they have let Eastmond go.

They let George Burgess go, he would’ve been a big earner. Williams would still class as club trained so only £75k on the cap. I’d say they can afford him |

Yes but they signed Bateman as Marquee this year replacing Burgess and also Jai Field has come in. They may well have space left on the cap, the message I get from the Pie Dome (My dad is a pure bred pie/season ticket holder) is that he will sign, they just do not know the detail or when. He is a great player that's for sure just hope its not leigh.
