I see the season starts on 9th February not really in the summe. Something else to blame for poor attendances.
Season April to November anyone?

Would probably make more sense, weather wise. February can be cold and bright or thick with snow. At least April would see the chance of snow down to almost zero.

To be honest, I don't mind it starting in February. A cold dark afternoon stood on a terrace somewhere with a crap pint of bitter, watching a complete mudbath - it's old school, can't beat it! Also, I can't really remember any games that have been postponed due to poor weather - a few friendlies maybe, but not in the regular season.
