It’s very early days, obviously, but I already have doubts about Marshall. I know that’s a bit ridiculous but he probably has the right notes but he’s playing them in the wrong order.
Was Pauli dropped ?
Where’s Greenwood?
Inu had a crap game but surely he had credit in the bank and ,in a close game, kickers will win you or lose you matches.
They focused running at Brown who,in a losing team looks his age
Can’t think of a single positive
Too soon to be too fed up ? Well, that’s how I feel

Well, that’s how I feel Taylor is definitely a positive, once his attacking game gets going he'll be one of the top 13s in sl

Guess you've got to give Marshall the benefit of the doubt of he's trying to find his best 17. We've got a challenge cup next week so fingers crossed you hope we get to see the likes of Costello and Escarè etc at fb because you can see we're really missing. Big shout out to Patton who came on and within a few minutes was bollocking players for playing $hite. Patton has done absolutely nothing yet giving it the big one, same as at Warrington. Thinks he’s Andy Gregory, but looks like he spends more time at Greg’s. Not good enough

We've played 2 of the probable top 4 with a completely new team. I'm just hoping we're just having serious teething problems (don't forget we've got 3 or 4 players out as well). Today was painful but I'm trying to take some sort of perspective.
I'm just glad we haven't thrown points away against some of the teams who will be around the bottom of the table. Apart from points difference taking a bit of a hammering we probably expected to be 0/2 so from that perspective we shouldn't lose hope.
Remember last season we got stuffed by Saints and lost at home to Hudds, Wakey and Leeds in the first 6 weeks. We had a shocking start.

Perspective needed. It wasn’t easy to watch but Hull and Saints are two of the best sides we will play. Widnes and Leigh should be winnable. Catalans and Castleford tough prospects but easier matches will come. It always takes a while to gel new players and get moving with a new coach. It might be a blessing that we haven’t played one of the weaker teams yet as we will be more gelled when we finally do play one of them.

I'm glad I don't do Social Media. Apparently one "fan" has already been on Twitter saying she's cancelling her ST direct debit.🤦♀️
Mild overreaction?🤔

I do..... and we got beat off some really crap teams. Saints and Hull will be top 4. Not excusing today's performance at all but there are some mitigating factors.

Inu was bad last week but to drop him and then keep Lannon in the team🤬 Watkins has been awful for two games so on that basis should be be dropped. Marshall has a lot to learn. I know Salford have played two of the best teams in the league but that performance was truly woeful.

Having watched all the teams twice now I am depressed and disappointed more than ever about our team, we have no enthusiasm, no leader/ organiser, I know we have played two top teams and the season is young but we should at least have some enthusiasm. It’s going to be a long season and we can’t put all our deficiencies on relying on Taylor to drag us through.

Early days. But...
That was awful.
With the exception of Tui and Taylor, everyone else was bang average or worse. They looked like a team that were going through the motions and not a hungry team at the start of the season. They look super low on morale which is baffling at this stage and barring those couple I've named there was little effort. We looked pretty clueless in attack, most of the time far too flat against a hungry defense to make any metres. Every time we got good field position we gave a penalty away or dropped the ball. Terrible stuff. Brown was non-existent and looked lost. He's supposed to be our director on the field yet he couldn't direct a turd into a toilet bowl today. Lannon looks like he's auditioning for a prize place in the championship and that left edge defense simply cannot learn from its mistakes.
I'm not sure what the answer is...Maybe to play the right players in the right positions would be a start. I know RM is still bedding-in, but as his hair grows even higher his decisions seem to be getting stranger. Get that man a haircut!

Well ss as I said it's great that people are seeing positives, but I think the last couple of posts or so say what took place today. I still think the can and will improve but it's as worrying as it gets.

Carnster, left side defence is Kear, who’s a lovely ball player and gutsy but just too small, and Brown. They were targeting this and others will
