Widnes at home
Shame it's not the Lions.
Some complete SL club ties.
Beeb looks more like an outing of the husbands of the WI by the day.
Just glad we're not playing Saints or the other loop fixture nonsense teams for the forty third time in a season!

Widnes looked bang average against West Wales Raiders the other week so you'd hope we wouldn't have too many issues with them. Can't really complain about the draw.👍
No idea what your reference to the Beeb and WI means though Russ... bit too cryptic for me that one!😁

Happy with the draw as to avoid a SL is a bonus and also not too low a team that it would be a pi$$ take. Should be good as a few ex Salford players in their team, am looking forward it it

A good coach is a lucky coach as the phrase goes, not a bad fixture at all that.

Good draw, you'd have to fancy us, but have see what form both sides are in leading upto the game, we could have lost all our games and they could have won all there's, so time will tell

No idea what your reference to the Beeb and WI means though Russ... bit too cryptic for me that one!😁 The WI is the Women's Insitute their husbands are the men left at home to cook tea, and the beeb is the BBC: the Brtitish Backbone of Communism if you believe Tory politicians. They do in Leigh!

One Ex Red Devil who won't be making a Playing return in the match is Logan Tomkons, He's had a problem with his foot that Apparently happened when he was at SRD. Adam Lawton/ Lee Jewitt and Matty Smith and from a Few years back Ste Tyrer. All at the Vikings.

Always bad news playing a team with a few who might have something to prove, and SRD are better when facing stiffer looking opposition.
One reason I took a look at the draw live was in the hope of avoiding the three we play 45 times and I hope that continues even if it means we get knocked out.

Wonder if the Club in its generosity will give season ticket holders free access via Our League for the Widnes match as they'll once again miss lots of live matches😉

Wonder if the Club in its generosity will give season ticket holders free access via Our League for the Widnes match as they'll once again miss lots of live matches😉 I was under the impression that this isnt possible as the proceeds from the Ourleague sales will be distributed back to the individual clubs in the same way gate receipts are split. ST never cover the Challenge cup games.

We do realise,RR, that STs do not cover the Cup; the term I perhaps searched for was 'gesture' as ST holders have paid for lots of other games they won't be able to attend.

Good draw for us, but we shouldn't go in to the game thinking it will be a shoe-in.
