I see that the All Stars team will not be exclusively Aus/NZ/Pacific Islands
Could also include French & Welsh. It'd be a pain for SRD if Morgan Escare & Rhys Williams are picked for them
With Playing Superleague games that weekend.

I'm presuming clubs will have the ultimate say over whether the players are needed for the league or are free to play. You'd like to hope so anyway. |

Clubs do have the say. But they shouldn’t do in my opinion. It’s a World Cup year. There should be half a dozen internationals this year with the home nations and a rep team like this to provide some competitive opposition for England. They should have dropped the loop fixtures for international fixture weekends. RL is so short sighted at times.
Could even have been playing internationals behind close doors over the winter. But of extra TV cash and better than 6 months pre season for the players
