Come on JJR, you're acting like a crack head when they don't get their rocks. Let me propose a counterpoint... The club could blow their load of relevant news all in one joyful event to keep you happy. But that leaves a void for the rest of an extended pre-season that only Russ can fill. Surely the way the club are doing it limits your forum misery in the long term for some sacrifice in the short term? What a catch-22 you're in. Thoughts and prayers.  |

Understand what you're saying Carnster but if our PR people can only come up with holding existing info as a way of generating interest we're not in the best of states..
I think the issue is that we've got the Reds TV now so the Club rightly or wrongly only generates info of interest that they want the fans to pay for. So we have to have these false deadlines to capture potential interest. What a Catch 22 the Clubs in Yossarian

Hopefully it'll be early Feb to allow us to buy the shirt/s with plenty of time to spare before the season kicks off.🤞
If we want something regular to whet our appetites for this season how about....
..... we start a thread on here once we have a season start date with a daily countdown timer on it. (ie. 31 days to go - 31 was Jacko's shirt number and someone posts a link to some of his finest moments in a Salford shirt or recalls a memory to share). Or something random in my case like it was 31 years ago when I saw my first ever Salford match!
Might provoke some happy (or painful!😁) memories and give us something to while away the hours until the big kick off?🤷♂️

I envy Myriam for that too, but with a house in NY, Tuscany & Sydney she's got a lot of stuff to envy.

Strange the two most famous US bombers B25 / B52
B presumably is bomber, are the 25 and 52 just sequential numbers or is there a plane geek that can tell us? ( we are getting bored)
