I asked the other day on Twitter and was told “soon”. It goes to show how dull life is at present that I am quite looking forward to seeing what we put out.

We should save the money given the limited income streams likely to run for the foreseeable. When we play another team wearing red, resort to “shirts v skins” like we did when I was a kid.

What colour are we expecting, mainly black again ? I liked the black kit. I think the players did to. I'm presuming it's just going to be a black version of what we currently have with white main stripe with maybe some red piping. That's my guess anyway for what it's worth. I'm not a fan of the home kit this year so can't see the away kit swaying me either. Unless it's totally different.

What has historically been our most common away kit colour - any of the resident historians know?

In the halcyon days of the 70's it was green and gold, in the 80's I remember blue, seems to have varied significantly over the years

What has historically been our most common away kit colour - any of the resident historians know? The white with the red band was the longest running one that I can recall. I've got a number 4 which I think was Chris Hesketh's old shirt, it's certainly from that team and period.
I like our change kit far more than the first choice one.

"I've got a number 4 which I think was Chris Hesketh's old shirt": you'll be able to dodge in and out of crowds easy, wearing that!

I don't like the strip down the front of either, but fwiw the away one is slightly nicer imo.

Much prefer the design in this colour way. Glad we have retained the black away kit as well.

I agree its better in the black, but to be honest still not overly fond of either - I think its the proportions on the stripes that jar with me - it seems to be neither one thing nor the other, I would have preferred something with more of the proportions of PSG or just a narrower band altogether, maybe something similar to the 2019 home shirt but in black with red stripes. ah well, I can live in hope for another year

I have always wondered why the club don't run a competition for fans to design the shirt. Perhaps £10 entry fee to submit a design for the home shirt and free for the away shirt (so kids can enter).... turn it into an (admittedly small) money spinner.
