Didn't realise that he threw his toys out of the pram. Obviously not committed to Salford so, all in all, a good result for the Salford coffers. Although a good player, not irreplaceable. From what I've seen of Elijah Taylor, he's top class and funded partially by the Yates money. A good outcome for "Team Salford". |

We've lost better players so we move on. I'm confused though watto saying Huddersfield have a good youth set up, doesn't look like any will be coming through at this rate.
Why is Ken splashing out all the money at the giants all of a sudden. They been crap since they won the shield years ago..

Yates is an 80 min workhorse which is what every club needs these days so therefore we'll miss him. But a full team of players have left in the past 4 years, and most for nothing.
So business is business as they say
Think Watto really putting pressure on himself in that he's trying to buy Ken a team.
And his problem at Judasfield is simple: the players he's bringing in from Salford and around will cause jealousy within the existing players. Remember it's a team game and his job now, with higher quality players is to form that team. With us they just followed him but will they at his new club.
He'd have been better advised to form the team from what he had then bring in extra playersgradually. It's always at least a two step operation , as Marwan found out. Is he running before he can walk?

Sorry to see player leave you want to keep, but why keep player that does not want to stay, and if true could have been disruption next year with attitude.

I don't think we will miss him that much, obviously depends on who we replace with.
Players leave all the time, no one is bigger than club. But good sign is our players leave for other Super League clubs, at one time went to championship, L1, just shows how far we have progressed.
Players coming in give me optomisim, and fact that we can attract them now.
People talk about going to next level,how do you do that with same players/ coach. BE POSITIVE, we are rising.
Interesting to see if Watto made players, or players made watto. Maybe Blease should get some credit to?
Only concern prop,but for me PP to slow for second row, make prop, we seem to be signing plenty back row, and backs, looks interesting next year if we can get in to see.
