You know, I could get excited about next season.
Normally I agree with the Russian superstition: "Talking about future success, especially boasting about it, is bad luck. It is considered better to be silent until the success has been achieved or to even sound pessimistic."

Or,as they say in Moscow Говорить о будущем успехе, особенно хвастаться этим, это плохая примета. Считается, что лучше молчать до тех пор, пока успех не достигнут или даже звучат пессимистичные".

You lack schadenfreude :-) And a soul, I was told the Catholic Kids at Sacred Heart had them both though so Salford wasn't completely lost in spite my weaknesses!
Welcome Danny Addy it's good to see you here with us.
Good replacement at loose and ability to play in other roles too!
By the look of it, if we have injuries, we may well still be strong and consistent enough because of our utility options.

I could get excited about next season too, but this seems appropriate for following Salford too: 'Trust in God......but don't forget to tie up your donkey'.

Whenever I come to the forum because of how I set it up I see this "Just when you thought 2020 couldn’t get any worse... " Worrying about jinxing and thinking it's bound to go wrong is being a Salford fan. But there is room for a bit optimism this time around even if we have to be careful not to go overboard.
