For not fulfilling a fixture. Thanks RFL. How about fining Leeds for the same reason.

Glass half full. No ban. 50% of fine suspended. Very harsh but I feared worse

"At a time when other sports have been criticised for their approaches to player welfare, Salford Red Devils are disappointed that the RFL have not supported the stance taken by the Club. This will not alter the Club’s priorities and approach going forward."
Spot on

Very harsh. Very unfair. No wonder we feel victimised by some decisions.
If it’s £15000 for failing to fulfil one fixture, what is it going to cost Hull KR for failing to fulfil the rest of their season?
Don’t hold your breath.

No doubt that the club will be asking for the fans of the community club to make a donation towards the fine🤔🤗

We should all be pretty used to our special treatment from the RFL by now surely? This can't be that much of a surprise...

The problem is we played by the rules, not 'we have 6 people who've been near someone who knew someone should might have had CV' as KR Cas and Wakey seemed to do every week. Best testing, best CV record. hence played too many games but got punished £7,500 cost is far better than -6pts tho. I suppose the RFL have to play by the rules.

Not really a surprise, once referred for review. But given situation in 2020 and exceptional circumstances I would have thought suspending the whole fine more appropriate not just half. Can we appeal it, or will that back fire and make it worse?

I suppose the RFL have to play by the rules. Well during a world wide crisis and a huge impact on our players throughout the game, maybe the RFL should decide which is more important the rules or the people involved.
"The RFL continues to drive and set the Welfare Policy." Yeah right!
