So we have a new assistant coach Danny Orr. Based on the attacking style of play at Castleford and the fact that he's been brought in to focus on our attacking play it looks a really good appointment to me. He's been assistant to Darryl Powell for a number of years so has the experience and the Salford connection too. Exciting times ahead (hopefully) Danny Orr

Think we'll see a much better Tui next year and Rowley staying on as well. He is class, v knowledgable and enthusiastic.

Liking that set up, just a strength and conditioning coach to go and think backroom staff sorted I did think that would be the next one.
As I said I thought we'd be a much more open way of playing on attack and now I think that's a certainty.

Looking forward to see what he can do with the attacking players we will have in the team, and what kicking advice he can give

I’d have been happy with him as head coach. Very happy with the new coaching set up.

Marshall Orr. Rowley Blease all with Salford connections Probably the best 'team' we've had Hope they gel I must admit, I'm pretty excited about what Marshall and Orr can bring to our already pretty decent side. I think you might find us being a lot more drilled, especially in defense, which has been our weak spot this last season. I'm really hoping that they can bring that consistency that both of them instilled in their previous clubs, and looking forward to seeing the philosophy that they are going to bring.

The good thing is Marshall esp opposing Salford at Saints and Warrington with effectively 3 top coaches will know our weak spots. Orr also will have a different perspective and Rowley the master of innovation.

Hopefully with the brains trust we have in our three coaches we'll be able to fine tweak some of our weaker areas. What we don't want is to dismantle our current processes and start in a different direction. The way we were working was pretty good and improved later on in the season due to losing double figure numbers of players each season. This season we have our best threequarters with plenty of depth for a long time. I feel we need strengthening in the front row and maybe another halfback as cover and with some good coaching hopefully a good season.

What we don't want is to dismantle our current processes and start in a different direction. Well, I think that's both unlikely and a certainty.
This amount of new coaches and playing staff is bound to have a fair impact overall. If they set about improving areas deemed as needed that will change things too. I imagine the strengths of the side will be well known and worked on to make them even better. So it will happen but there should always be plenty there that's kept and instantly recognisable.
