Sam Luckley welcome to Salford I know it's hard to judge a player from highlights but he looks to have good leg drive and a useful offload. Looks promising. Salford LinkHighlights

Total RL say he's a dynamic runner, aggressive in defence known as bulldozer.

Just heard him speak and he makes all the right noises for doing a job for us. I watched the video and was impressed in both attack and defence.
Would love see him and Yates working together.
Great to have someone with a NE accent. Is that a first for SRD?

Many thanks Salford1961 for that link. Enjoyed it.
About one minute in, I thought I was looking at our pitch of the late 60's to 70's.

The great Barney Hudson was born in Horden County Durham, my dad once pointed him out when I was at a match when Barney had retired but was watching a match.

Interestingly Tom Danby, dual international, at 93 is probably Salfords oldest surviving player. Used to live on the same road as Barney, mate of my dads; gentle bloke, as was his other mate, no nonsense Charlie Pawsie
