Just noticed this morning that the money raised so far for MND has surpassed £1 million.
That's some going that. It does show how high profile media can make a difference not only to this, but to our game in general.

Fantastic achievement by Kevin to raise so much money and run seven Marathons in seven days. |

Have to agree with others and post on here to say well done Kevin and keep going Rob....well done to everyone concerned. Pity Rob wasnt nominated for sports personality of the year...he would have got my vote without a doubt. Its not just about his playing achievements but the inspiration, fighting spirit and everything about him that makes him a winner....and true sports personality. |

If he doesn't get recognised for this in the New Years Honours list then it is a travesty. I'm also hoping that the BBC have a special segment and/or award category for him and Rob Burrow in the Sports Personality of the Year show, even if neither of them have been nominated for the actual award itself

Great effort and result from a top bloke.
A great in our game.
In my head, what makes him special was at the challenge cup 2005. Having lost a thrilling final to a late drop goal, with every other Leeds player on their backs, knees or backsides in disappointment, he stood alone and applauded the Hull players picking up their medals and the cup.
Quality.
