We're v sorry you get upset by criticism but unlike you we don't seem to see life through rose coloured spectacles.
I think people are complaining about the lack of up to date media coverage, unless you count instantly forgettable social media.

The way I see it there are probably 5 people who have a very weird infatuation with the website and its quality. like it or not Social Media is the way that the world is heading / has headed. so regardless if you think its forgettable its very easy to see that the efforts of the majority of companies/ sporting clubs is social media. The back office of the club is small compared to most yet they all do a great job! there is plenty of content on Social Media and also on the clubs RDtv which is all upto date. |

Correct,but it’s 3 months since that squad was disbanded but its 3 days since the revised squad was announced. and in that time i would hazard a guess that some of the clubs back office staff have been on furlough or working reduced days to keep costs down given that income has been massively impacted. |

That’s wrong. Firstly you have no way of knowing how many people and,as I said,when you have a website that is the shop window, so it should be up to date.
At the very least they should have removed the old departed players until the new squad was announced

The thing is, you have to blame the critics not the website obviously.
It may only be a few days since the squad numbers but Patton apart the rest have been settled for quite some time and the comment about either don't have one or do it well is spot on.
The club are doing a great job and things are obviously progressing well all round but that doesn't make them exempt from criticism.
If the website serves no purpose other than as a shop get rid of the other stuff and call it the RetailRed or DevilMart and have done!

Not at all, the fact remains if you look a couple of threads back it’s the same people whinging about the same things! Namely JJR and yourself complaining that the website is rubbish! We get it and realised that you don’t like the website, maybe offer your services and update it accordingly! Sure the club would be willing to get some help! The website serves a purpose to provide links from social media outlets to articles! You know the ones about the new signings etc! The stuff people actually care about! Most people aren’t going to suddenly go out of their way to visit a website to check a squad list when the season is weeks away! |
