I'm confused.
There is clear evidence here that RL has used a modicum of common sense.
It's just not cricket.

Hopefully it will become permanent. A March start is much better than late January/early February.

Surely we should start as late as possible, think if anything SKY will say yes or no to any weeks like that.

Another bit of positive news today. Along with RL getting cash from the government, big money sponsor for the world cup, and Sarge signing on for another year after next year.
Too early to say that the tide is turning?
I'm sure it will all be forgotten once Bradford is shoehorned into SL shortly...

London have the best case, Toulouse would be the fantasist choice, Leigh have the best facilities and good crowds but you're right even tho Bradford has failed endlessly and have had their ground in hock to the RL, whilst not even playing there, we have always had a Yorkshire bias and everybody in the RL head office always pushes their case. I went in hospitality when we last had a play off game and lost and their arrogance is 2nd to none. Will never go there again.London, who only went down on points difference should get it.

Agreed.
If Bratfud get the nod it would be a scandal, they would be starting behind the 8 ball and no doubt be relegated and struggle financially again.

Read an interesting article about why Bradford is likely. While the panel choosing the club is 'Independent', although we wont mention a former Bulls employee who is on it. The way the parameters for who is eligible has been seemingly skewed towards Bradford is quite alarming. It'll allow the RFL to wash its hands when fingers come pointing, by saying 'look, it wasn't us who chose them.' Even though they look like they've manipulated the prerequisites for applying. Of course, this may be a mute point if they somehow don't get the nod, but it's the underhand way some people in our game twist things in favour of themselves that is the crux of the problems at the heart of our game.

Sadly Carnster with Saints Wigan Leeds chairmen effectively running RL that's the way with everything But at least only Saints and Leeds tried to get a no confidence vote against Elstone and the rest voted against them Elstone in a no win job

Just Read it's just The Hornets & Barrow Trying to move up to the Championship. Always thought Barrow should change there name from the Raiders to Something that represents the Biggest industry around those Parts The isotopes As In the Nuclear power station or Barrow Apocalypse As that's where the Royal Navy Nuclear Submarines are Built !!.

The Barrow Submariners has a ring to it. Would love to see a Cumbrian club in SL, worked up in Distington for a while, apart from being locked in by the Police as Derrick Bird was on the rampage in the next village my abiding memory was how insane they were about RL.
Forget which 2 teams it was but went to see a big amateur game 1 Saturday, the tastiest derby I've ever seen, makes Saints & Wigan look like a pansies day out.
Only we could have an entire county that is mad for the sport with no premier side based there, bring on the Cumbrian Wolfpack I say.

Totally agree MR. But of course Toronto has lots of amateur teams, easier travel, better pitch, sound business case, so I favour them
