My worry is a points deduction or fine for not being able to field a team for the Warrington fixture.
It would be very RFLesque to hand out some punitive measures down the track for that.
Though can see that with the promotion by vote of a team to replace Toronto that relegation next season will be scrapped.

If they do MR then St Helens refused to travel to Catalans and I think Leeds turned a game down too. Mind you, there are different rules in RFL Land depending on which team is involved

Very unusual in a sports business to have no operational debt? But BR as ever has the inside take

I don’t think we can run much operational debt can we? we don’t have anyone to guarantee it apart from King and Roslers homes and I’m not sure they want to put them at risk. Maybe a bit of a bank overdraft facility but that won’t run to much. From what I’ve understood from Paul Kings interviews we’ve been running at break even over the last few years

I had assumed you were talking about historic debt from the Wilkinson and Koukash years. That’s gone,we’ve been assured by Blease and Rosler. Anything secured against homes will be the bank overdraft, basically, so that’ll be under control. If that’s the case,we can all rest a bit easier,I think

Surely this makes a much more appealing opportunity for any investors.
Having the captain of the ship still around would have helped though.

An investor in rugby league is an oxymoron. You mean ‘benefactor’,and I agree

interesting your views BR looking from the inside out. Good to have someone with the inside knowledge on Board. Is that a Salford Grammar jersey?
