Yes I know this season isn't over yet (and I remain convinced it will just peter out) but 2021 needs some serious looking at.
If the Grand Final goes ahead it means that play will still be going on until mid late November, with players having such a trunkated 2020 season they will all need a good break.
The problem you've got is that World Cup starts on 23 October, the National teams will want players for I'd guess at least 3 weeks for training and warm up games, they will want at least 1 mid season warm up game and maybe even the World Club challenge needs to be crammed in.
Basically next season will have to start early and there is no guarantee that we'll still be battling missing games for obvious reasons.
Personally can't see how it all can be crammed into such a short space without seriously endangering the players with burn out.

I have heard that they plan to start at the end of March. If so, that gives about 6 months. I expect that loop fixtures will be the first to go.

In the recent talks after the Toronto decision, they committed to a 12 team, 27 round competition for 2021.
No idea how, or if, they will achieve it.
