Anyone who thinks Aussie refs are significantly better than ours should give that game a watch though 😉

The ref on Friday made more mistakes in the first 15 minutes than the Oz league has all year
Thought the Final today had v many hard and contentious decisions and in general the result of each was ok. I only saw one or two where he missed an error.
Oz and GB refs are Poles apart as was shown when our esteemed ref on Friday had to be dropped when he went overseas to try and officiate internationals. Thaler good couple of others ok, but in general poor
Also RU reffing now is real v good. Why?? Because they use another pair of eyes on the video as well. And the linesman, assistant refs, touch judges are far better and play an integral part in reffing.
Our poor reffing is killing the game
