I saw on Twitter that some fans are planning on `waving ` off the team on Thursday lunchtime. I am planning on going down and taking my mum who is a loyal reds supporter/season ticket holder for 50 plus years and went to Wembley in `69....she wouldn't miss it for the world, but she is 81 yrs of age and cant walk very far and vulnerable due to the current COVID climate. Can I ask and also suggest that if we are allowed onto the car park or near to the ground then those wishing to say good luck etc, do so at a very safe distance so as not to spoil it and obviously adhere to the social distancing rules etc. I plan on just driving down and either staying in or standing by my vehicle and sounding my horn if needs be as they make there way from the ground. I appreciate we all wish to give em a send off etc, but can we just have a little consideration for those that are elderly.
Thanks in advance.

I'd have loved to have done this but alas I'm baking myself in the Canaries.☀️🏖️ I really hope a few fans do get down to the AJ Bell to wave the lads off and wish them all the best.
How great would a socially distanced guard of honour look, all the way down from the ground to the Peel Green roundabout?!😎
