He was rumoured to be interested in us about 12 months ago over on the Scarlet Turkey. I asked him about it when he was serving pies at Moor Lane during the FA Cup run last winter.
'So are you taking over Salford rugby then Fred?' I asked as I purchased a cheese n onion Hollands at half-time. 'Not interested mate, rugby ain't my sport'. he replied rather tersely (I thought).
Obviously had a change of heart since then.

I don't think Fred Done is passionate about Rugby League, but he's definitely passionate about making money.

He sponsored the shed if I remember rightly last season at the willows, think he's been involved in wire as his head office is in birchwood. As mentioned think it's money hes interested in, which is fair enough
