So Yates comes in and starts with Flash returning to the bench in place of the unfortunate Kear. BUT,what happens if Evalds is fit and plays in a match before the final. Work that one out !

Doubt Evalds would get into the Wembley squad, Missing the Quarter & Semi final Then being given a Final spot ,Sarginson has done OK at fullback

If he is fit, Evalds has to play, surely. Sarge back to centre and Watkins or Welham on the bench.

Sarge might’ve done ok but has cost us tries in every game in which he’s been fullback. You can’t drop Watkins or Welham. Maybe the happiest solution is for Evalds not to be fit, otherwise he has a man management problem

Evalds to play if he rips up his contract with Cas. Otherwise stay as we are.

I remember when Murph changed the Saints side for the final and brought in two Ausies one was Fatty and I can't remember the other right now but the point is it was a disaster!

Sorry think Sarginson is a liability at full back (not a pop as it's not his position).
Doubt Evalds would be fit anyway so it's a moot point.

So,bottom line, you’d leave Evalds out,if fit ? No bonita because Watto is a far better coach than Alex ever was, unless you mean if I was Watto, and then the answer would be no too.
What I do worry about is dropping people who've done all the hard work.
The Murphy story is a real lesson though.
If Evalds is fit and showing good form then he has to be considered but dropping any of the centers will be both undeserved & certainly hardly fair.

I think for all Evalds has done for the club he is deserving of a place, plus his pace and certainty under the high ball could really be the difference. You just know that Leeds will target Sarge with some bombs. However it would be very harsh to drop any of the lads that have got us to the final. Glad I don’t need to make the decision!

Evalds is our best full back by a country mile. If he’s fit I think he’s got to play. It would be harsh on one of the centres to miss out but that’s professional sport.
The second row is more difficult. Not a lot between them. Flanagan definitely plays. Yates might play at prop, if not he alternates with Flash. He might do both. He has done before
Greenwood seems to be getting better all the time and I think is the best of them on current form.
McCarthy is a work horse. His son bin nearly cost us dearly and was borderline criminal. But not like him and hopefully he won’t repeat it.
Lannon has been first choice for a while but probably needs to earn his place back.
Roberts is probably last in the pecking order but looked good when he has played
Pauli will probably be one of the subs for the back row but I don’t think his lateral movement is good enough to defend on the edge. But I do like seeing him toss the smaller attackers round like rag dolls when he gets it right

I can’t remember us ever having a better squad than this, really good strength in depth
