Just saw on Total RL that they're going to do a 5 point plan article for what every club needs to do to improve their chances of success. What would everyone's 5 point plan for SRD be for success next season? I'm hoping against hope that this won't include diatribes against the Doc cos they've been covered until death by boredom on other threads.

1. Replace MCB and Josh Griffin with 2 more-than-capable players.
2. Re-evaluate the clubs current Marketing Strategy (or lack of), and reach out to our target demographic in Greater Manchester.
3. Invest in the Youth Academy and ensure that we can hold on to our better prospects.
4. Develop the land surrounding the stadium in conjunction with improving the transportation links to the area.
5. Don't put ourselves in a position that may incur points deductions and/or financial penalties.

Because of the initial silence I thought saying avoid MK might've left everyone scratching their heads at what to say. I highlighted the second part of number 3 cos that's the hardest part in terms of attracting players and keeping them if you're not in the top 4 to 6.( Griffin and Hull perfect example!) I do think 4 quality recruits is the first stage. I also wondered if this is the time for a flagship signing?

So the upshot here is that not too many of us have even 5 positive constructive points that might help! I wonder what Total RL will come up with when it's SRD's turn?

Fan re-engagement is massive, we're on a bit of a roll after mpg need to keep on it.
On the field, a few small improvements should see us cement a top 8, as has been mentioned a big rough prop, centre, top class booker would for the bill
