The moment I texted my Son it’s going to be a 50 nil for Cats it was as though my message was received by the entire team and collectively they said no it won’t . We were helped massively by the 6 more rule, I also thought we were the fitter team, well done Greg Brown for that one, and well done the lads.👹👹👹👹

Tackling won us the match think it was 3 sets on our line at one time
Early doors in the first and second half to me were just ring rusty. We've hardly played and been locked down for most of the past months; hardly trained together and 4 main players out against a full strength Catalan team
Teams win matches, individuals play their part. Catalan came to bulldoze and dominate and they were tackled out of it
Half backs; thought Tui and Brown better than the world class Malone and Drinkwater. Good to see them taking on the line more, esp Tui.

I think Kevin Brown is and always as been a good player.But it's the old adage a good young one is better than a good old one. I’m not sure that quotes quite right, I think it’s more to do with a good big un rather than a good small un. I maybe wrong, either way Mr Brown was good last night. MOM for me though was Greenwood, insane amount of work and looked a lot more potent in attack. |

What a way to win a game. Still buzzing about it.
It wasn’t a great performance though and we’ll have to play a lot better if we are to win the semi final. We won’t win many games with stats like last nights. But who cares when we win like that 😂
Our fitness, our tackling and our decision making near the line won us that game. The 5 minutes before half time were crucial. We’d got back into it and cats were hammering our line and we withstood it and went up the other end and created a chance.
Only conceding once while Pauli was off was crucial too When we kept hold of the ball we looked great in attack. The forwards were immense going forward, all made metres and quick play the balls and the backs did brilliantly to take advantage of the space created

Oh and watching Welham, Inu and Sarginson bullying Folau out of the game was worth the entrance money on its own 😂
Plus the Watkins tackle on Tomkins and seeing sulky Sam at the end of course
