He’s now left apparently until next year (Could still be training though). Was inevitable after Cas signed GOB and Evalds was staying here for the rest of the season.

I suppose even though he wasn't playing. The fact that he's been involved and getting ahead of the game can only be a good thing for us. I'm sure he'll continue to be around training and the club regardless.

I'd imagine that should he be required through injury later in the season he'll be available as a 'trialist'
Can't see him heading home now with the tit for tat self isolation rules the UK and French governments are implementing.

That’s the end of his trial period. Don’t think he can have another one. Think paul king would have to win the pools to get him back

Think paul king would have to win the pools to get him back I'd be not surprised if Catalans end up having a real tilt at the title if they didn't come in for Dudson early, don't see us not releasing him for a few pennies if we're not a genuine contender. Would mean if we needed to Escare might be brought in early. |

I like Sarge,100% effort and quick feet.
Can’t say I feel that confident when he’s at full back,though.
He’s versatile and a good stand in

Sarginson is good enough in defence to play at FB and his kick returns are awesome. He’s solid enough under the high ball but seems to struggle with ones along the floor (he spilled one like that the other week too to gift Albert Kelly a try). He doesn’t half the half back abilities of Evalds though. Hadn’t realised til I saw a list before that Evalds is top of our assist makers this season

Watto does use Evalds and did use G O'B in much the same way and Escare will be more along those lines too I think. If not we'll have to change tactics or personel or both, I'd imagine.
