I've worked and listened to the game on the BBC (more on that later), apart from nearly crashing a couple of times with excitement (nothing to do with pretty ladies in teeny tiny outfits honest) that was the perfect tonic to Chinese Bat Flu.
From the sounds of it Luke Yates came into his own doing the full 80, have said from the get go we bought him as an 80 minute player and he was wasted coming of the bench, seems like we were right.
Tui sounded like he was on a different planet (even though I've seen him described as having the physique of a prop post lock down), just so glad we swapped him and RL when we did as we've got a rising star and lost a waning 1. Sounded too like he's maybe been working on his goal kicking which I'd guess is an indicator that Inu might struggle for game time.
Atkin didn't seem to do much wrong so maybe we've got a fairly decent back up to KB.
Slightly worried that Sarge seemed to get beasted at times but as someone else said it happens, sure he'll bounce back.
My worry is that Mossop seems like the only out and out traditional prop, he gets injured and we're struggling for that early minutes grunt and go forward.
Oh and back to the BBC, since when did they get so shite? There's a girl who's stock talk what's your opinion on that Jack and the shocking efforts to get names (Ik a he he he he he fo) and a couple of the Hull players reminded me of the umpires back in the day mangling Martina Navratilova at Wimbledon.

I've supported the Beeb for years and only listen to the news on the Berb World Service which is brilliant but with sports commentary now it's got to be balanced, whatever that is, and PC. They've ruined cricket commentary for me, listened all my life and the same there giggling silliness, don't get it. Got great ex England players around, not being used hi you can listen to all day. Lots of great women commentators Hazel Irvine Jenna Brookes etc but some of this latest lot seem poor, embarrassing But then again Sky have Mcdermott.

Having Moose as our only out and out prop (forgetting Seb?) isn't much of a worry if we're gonna put 50+ points on a pack as big as 'Ull's. I'll settle for that.😁 Btw, rumour has it that 1010 drivers are providing half price fares for the rest of the evening to celebrate Salford's win MR. I'll se you at the White Lion in a couple of hours then?😉

Chinese Bat Flu? The Beeb has gone all PC? Now the role of props will come under scrutiny this season like it or not and, if the game drops scrums, it will mean any big bloke will have to be a stepper as well as have lots of minutes. As that prop from Saints said though, if you have people around you working hard being large won't be an issue and makes you look better than you are. Sorry to hear about your liver MR.

Chinese Bat Flu? The Beeb has gone all PC? Might not be PC but factually correct.
It's an infectious disease with flu like symptoms, that originates from China and is purportedly directly linked to bats.
Ergo Sir Knight Chinese Bat Flu.
As for the big men think more and more the from rowers game has changed gradually over the years, gone are the days where head down and skittle them is the props main aim, Danny Sculthorpe would be in his element in this day and age along with Corey Parker from the Colonies.
Big Brendan Hill might just struggle.

First of all it's the silly notion of PC that bothers me as it's used mostly by people who want to be something else.
It's not that big men will become extinct in TGG it's that their role will change and more may be asked of them that's all.
By the way the Spanish flu started in the US which is probably why it was called the Spanish flu.
