"League took on Union at Kingsholm in the Mitsubishi Motors UK Hybrid Cup on Sunday. League came out on top by 49 points to 41 in an entertaining encounter on an afternoon when the chosen charities were the real winners."
From the Gloucester website and has a picture of Moz lifting the cup after an awful lot of photos of Gloucester scoring and playing. Personally no real interest in the match, don't see the point, but the website look at it was interesting. "Gloucester Rugby Heroes vs Salford Red Devils Legend Heroes - in pictures" Fascinating stuff that.

Why were Salford playing in that bloody awful Harlequins style kit? They've got a perfectly good away kit. I think we had the best strips in super league this year. Much better than some from the past. Remember the arsenal lookalike with white sleeves?
I'm glad they won the game. Even if it's only an exhibition. I think a cross code game with the current players may have generated a bit more interest. A match with Sale at the AJ Bell would be a nice idea. They can have the away dressing room

It was done in connection with Rugby League Cares, the kit took on the RL Cares logo but had the Salford badge on it.

Ah that makes sense now, thanks for that. I've absolutely no issue with organizations like that. I still think the shirt was awful but I suppose the message is more important
