Now that Toronto have ducked and there seems to be there's going to be no lower league action why not a best of the rest/lower league team replace them.
Would be championed by neutrals and might give players a bit of exposure to SL talent scouts.

Wont happen. Covid means that the idea of guys coming in from multiple areas and different 'bubbles', then moving around the north of England until the end of the year will be a big public health no-no. That's before you figure out who pays their wages and the logistics of it all. Nice idea, but just a fantasy.

I'm not going to rub it in about Toronto. As a Salford fan I know what it feels like to teeter on the edge of the abyss and wouldn't want to be in that position or Toronto's again. However, I can't stand McDermott and the fact that he is as ripe a bell-end as you'll ever see, it fills me with a little shameful joy that his past words are coming back to haunt him. This article from twitter a few years ago hasn't aged well...

This article from twitter a few years ago hasn't aged well... Had thought about this tweet myself. He is an out and out ****, the world of rugby league wouldn't miss out if he disappeared forever. As an aside if the NY franchise was done correctly and Rutgerson was the coach I'd be way more supportive than I am of Toronto.
