If it's something that's spread through the club network, true or not, it would explain why Watto didn't put in an offer as thank goodness it seems to be something he's very strong on.
Players like Tony change matches and momentum though.

He does it far too infrequently and when he isn’t influencing games he’s just giving the ball away too much. He seems to think he’s more skillfull than he actually is and a lot of the risks he takes don’t come off. He also wants to play stand off but would make a much better centre if he reigned in his ego and put his mind to it.
Just my opinion. Although even if Watson rated him we don’t seem to be in need of a fullback, stand off or centre.

We're not in need of an FB, Stand off or center but we could do with more competition for places.
