"This is just to annoy the SRD Fans that Don't like Leigh" Cant see them being many Reds fans that do. Probably Alright to be honest it's probably loads The only thing I like about Leigh is the Stadium and the Journey Home on the East Lancs Oh and the Morrisons Breakfast before the game. |

I thought Derek's suggested two 16 team comps, along with moaning about delays to making a decision and then players turn up to say it'll all be pointless if we don't have P&R. It does make you wonder if anyone at the club would be that bothered if the Centurions were 4 lost from four games?

I'm of the Opinion that Derek Beaumont would Still not be happy if Leigh were regularly finishing in the top four of the Superleague He'd still have something to moan about. Leighs problem is they are and always will be under the shadow of Wigan Warriors ,I'd suggest they consider selling there licence to New York ala Hemel Stags selling there's to Toronto.
Plus Beaumont would have the opportunity to sell more of his Sundecks in the US !!.

All in all though, Danny Addy had a point in the article, for the Championship not to have promotion would render the season untennable and worthless.
From an SL point of view relegation at the end of a complete nonsense season seems just as silly.

Have always thought that Beaumont must be some sort of South Lancashire charlatan as seriously who becomes a millionaire from nailing together some old pallet wood scraps for people to sit on in areas where sunshine is as frequent as golden eggs plopping out of a chickens bum.

Salford Leigh Swinton should have joined together when SL franchise was started with small feeder teams
As should Cas, Wakey Featherstone
And the Cumbrian teams
That would have made SL as it was envisaged and kept clubs solvent
But we're too parochial

The strength of the squads from the best players of the merged clubs would've been something to see though lots of fans might've disappeared from the game forever.

Which Oldham game?
I was at the Nottingham Outlaws match and I think that makes me a Tolpuddle Luddite.
