You can't keep getting a different old head each year to steer the team, you don't get any cohesion and you'll not get the best out of Tui.

Will anybody get the best out of Tui? Always seems a stone oversight to me. One of those players who seems to have everything but doesn't quite use it.
Potential, hope he does fulfil it.

So, I had a feeling his age would be the issue.
Are there any affordable scrum halves anywhere, of the right quality and age range?
If not it's more wishlist than rumour or possibility.

Jai Field (Who has been mentioned on here before I think) went well for the Eels today and he won’t be getting much game time once Moses comes back. Is he a proper 7 though? I’ve not seen enough to know.
Also mates with Hastings.

He’s only young (22) and Leeds were after him last year apparently. He’s on a ‘developmental contract’ at the moment so can’t be on much. I thought he was a fullback though but he looked good at 7 today. Probably not a realistic target now he’s made it to the first team but there must be other young lads trying to break through. |
