Storm v Warriors ... hate one sided games. Chooks v Dragons double movement for first try.IMO
Good news for Saints fans the Dragons looked better without Graham.

Looked like a double movement to me too Russ. Got the sound down while I’m working so didn’t hear any of the chat around it.
Warriors started really well but Melbourne just kept breaking them from deep and took their chances really well. Warriors defence was poor. Not convinced sacking Kearney was a good plan

Now I’m fairly new to NRL and when I’ve seen him internationally he’s looked really good but does anyone else think Tuivasa-Sheck is a bit dodgy in defence? Over the last few weeks he’s been shocking under the high bombs and was out of position continually today.

Sheck, is ok in defence for me, but he cant cover the whole back line himself, and go on the attack aswell. As for the roosters, def a double movement for first try, roosters are getting like the storm, refs giving them everything, getting the rub of the green thats for sure. did play better without Graham, they have 2 fast wingers and very rarely get the ball out there, young Saab is 19 6ft 4in, he will be a star in a couple of yrs, out of contract at the end of the year, on £30,000 a year, could we get him as a english player, with his father being english or have they done away with that rule. Draggons and warriors plating lacking confidence, now where have i seen that before>>>

Storm are just so impressive, there were times especially early on when the Warriors battered them and then melbourne scored.
Ryan Hall looks like no one has any faith in him at that club and I'm not sure why.

He’s a bit hit and miss. And his attacking is definitely the strongest part of his game. With warriors defence in front of him he is left very exposed at times

The Eels v Raiders game was pretty good. Eels the deserved winners after the Raiders scored a touchdown in the first half. They seem to have imported Wigan’s way with referees as well as their players.

I thought the Raider's comback deserved a draw.
And if this means the Raiders "They seem to have imported Wigan’s way with referees as well as their players." That's just George Williams.
The Captain's Challenge is still dubious and a waste of time.
And I'd love to see this man in an SRD shirt

I think it has more to do with Hodgson nagging the ref but any excuse to bash Wigan to be honest.

I was watching something else after the NRL entirely unrelated but what struck while we were talking about this programme was that NRL is, for the moment, no longer a form of the game that only coaches could truly engage with and enjoy. Whether or not the public will appreciate that change will be interesting.I do.

Thought this was interesting "The six-again rule has been tweaked to prevent markers from seeking an unfair advantage as the NRL tries to stay ahead of coaches and players attempting to manipulate the new interpretations. The Australian Rugby League Commission approved a change that will result in referees restarting the tackle count - rather than blowing a regulation penalty - if markers are not square or break early at the play the ball. The rule previously could only be applied to infringements made in the ruck and was brought in for round 3, the first weekend after the NRL's COVID-19 shutdown." www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/nrl-makes-tweak-to-six-again-rule-after-just-five-rounds-20200630-p557ob.html
