Just thought I’d have a whinge,as there is nothing important going on in rugby world Firstly sadly Scoot, Roy Carter has sadly passed this week a victim of this deadly virus, Roy was a true Salfordian and massive Red Devil fan. Roy had the honour of being a touch judge at Wembley when Wigan beat Saints 27-0. RIP Roy. My whinge which is irrelevant in the scheme of things that we are booked to visit New York and Toronto and see the Red Devils and it seems likely the game will take place in UK if at all. Nobody’s fault and it has given me a chance to contribute to the board. To all on here Stay at Home if possible Stay Safe.

Sad news indeed. Hope his family are ok.
Re: Toronto - you can always get a voucher for the flights and go next year as disappointing as it is. Can’t see Canada or us being back to normal by July.

Sad news about Roy. Always an intelligent and friendly man.
A mate of mine who now lives in Spain told me the sad news earlier and he told me a funny story about Roy.
Back in the day we both played for Langworthy and Roy used to train with us. He related a story about a time Roy was running the line in a Junior game and getting a lot of stick from a Parent about his lack of eyesight etc. To put this in context Roy at the time was a bit follically challenged. Anyway this went on all game and near the end this certain parent shouted "Linesman are you blind" at the top of his voice (Or words to that effect). Roy turned round and said he was sorry but "his hair had got in his eyes". At that point all the parents including the one shouting the abuse burst into laughter.
That summed Roy up.
Roy RIP.
