Tex not well

I have many memories of Tex but the one that stands out for me was in a game against Halifax at Thrum Hall (Never a happy hunting ground for us)John Bentley the ex Leeds centre sidestepped Tex to go over for a try. Bentley ran past Tex waging his forefinger in the air which was his celebration. Tex's face was like thunder. A few minutes later Bentley received the ball a split second before Tex hit him with his shoulder in the midriff like an Exocet missile. Bentley went green and collapsed was helped from the field. It still remains one of the best tackles I have seen. Thanks for the memories Tex and get well soon.
