As it’s the 25 year anniversary various versions of this are doing the rounds so might as well add it here to alleviate the boredom- best matchday squad from the Super League era?
With not much thought I went with the following:
1. Evalds
2. Hodgson
3. Naylor
4. Sa’u
5. Carney
6. Blakeley
7. Hastings
8. Highton
9. Lussick
10. Dudson
11. Jones
12. BMM
13. Flash
14. Mossop
15. Cartwright
16. Littler
17. Baynes
I’ve never been won over by our wingers to be honest but Broughton run em close and err Fata Sini obviously. Moule, Moon, Dunneman and Lui all had a shout for the backs. We’ve had a few solid props but I only really rated Koppy and maybe Rutgerson near those 4. Can’t remember many decent back rowers (Judas aside but I’m not picking him).
