Pack still looks lightweight, so Greenwood has to start.Has JJ just been left out. Is Tykes place sacrosanct. Never discussed on here. I think with Lannon and Greenwood not firing yet then at the moment he still warrants a place. He’s not let anyone down but I can see where concerns are coming from - he just doesn’t have the pace or guile needed at second row. Yates or Burke haven’t shown me anything yet to say they are better at 13 though and both can cover prop so I’d still have him in there even if not at second row. |

Can’t argue with that. I couldn’t understand people saying we had loads of second rowers in pre-season.

Lannon definitely offered a lot more then Greenwood which isn't a surprise considering he hasn't played for the best part of a year.

Last year few injuries but a good few now plus suspension and Walker leaving. A real test this weekend.
Possibly have to play a more expansive game.
Flanagan should be in, keeps the middle solid.
Leeds unchanged 21 but no Ward still.

No I think we lack a ball playing forward so I'd keep Flanagan.
Could swop Pauli or Burke for Roberts.
Just my view, not guessing Watsons team.

Thought Flash played well at the end of last year. He can still tackle well, think he played prop once last year, run with a side step and good passer.
I think we need a bit of non bish bash variety. But just a view.
Burke doesn't seem to have the awareness of Flanagan to me.

I wouldn’t say either of them are in his class playmaking wise. We can’t write him off before he’s even had a runout- deserves at least a chance after his form at the back end of last season.
