Remind me who did we have to sell last year? nothing like a bit of doom and gloom! Rob Lui year before Gaz O'brien year before BMM Just reality not d n g Lui wanted to leave at the end of the season, we got an adequate replacement who will be here for this year and next year. He had already agreed in principle to join HKR before Sheens got the bullet.

Remind me who did we have to sell last year? nothing like a bit of doom and gloom! Rob Lui year before Gaz O'brien year before BMM Just reality not d n g Lui was gone seasons end anyway and we got a more than like for like replacement who is on a longer deal (part funded by Leeds) who is much younger and a hell of a lot fitter.
GOB has stagnated somewhat, we also were playing him ahead of Evalds when it was obvious who the better full back was, we got good money for him too so not a bad deal.
BMM I agree with but when you need money and you're offered loads for a player you have to weigh up the odds, Warrington came in and made it impossible to turn them down and obviously offered him personally a much improved deal.
Can't see how we would need to sell this season, the caveat would be if we're out of the cup, safe in the league but not got a chance of making the play offs and a player is going at seasons end but we get offered money to release him early it would be good business to take the offer.

We didn’t really sell him like those other two did we? The £60k+ Leeds paid us was to cover the difference in wages between Lui and Lolohea over the final two years of Lolohea’s contract. It was a very good swap deal.
The GoB and BMM money all went on balancing the books which was a different kettle of fish.
It’s a bit early for this talk isn’t it? Can’t we just look forward to the first game without worrying about the finances?
