Just been reading a French article connecting our two stars with Catalans Dragons.
Has anybody heard anything?

First I or I assume anybody has earned anything about this , But if they did leave I'd class it as a "Pension Booster" Contract.

Was in the telegraph apparently. Both getting on now so I'd understand them wanting to get a final big contract and retirement in sunny france.

Both contracted and both had stellar 2019s so I'd expect a hefty fee would be slapped on both.
For me I'd let Mossop go as he can't go through another season pretty much injury free, who to replace him/them with at this late stage would be the question.
Doubt it would happen.

Mossop is exactly the sort of player they should have been signing a while ago to add some leadership to that undisciplined pack. Dudson is a stranger one - doesn’t strike me as a Catalans player. Also seems a bit early for signing rumours - assume the article meant when they go off contract at the end of the year?

Catalan Media (the English language fan page for Catalans) reckons a signing is imminent and mentions Mossop, Dudson and Flower of Wigan as potential signings. Of our two I would think Mossop was the more likely after not playing on Sunday but would rather he stayed and hope it’s the usual nonsense.

Just been reading that Ian Blease isn’t happy with Catalans who are still trying to get Gil Dudson, he was saying why now.

Time to cash in but that's two starting props Dudson Walker gone. Missed him with Mossop last night. So time to look at Flower, Amour etc. If proplonged lay off probably time to sort.

Bar a few dropped balls Seb was superb again last night I thought and I'm hoping we can do some sort of a deal with Hudds at end of season to keep him. Are there any more Walne's we can send their way as part of a swop deal?😁 |

I'd be quite shocked if Dudson was acting up to try and get us to release him sooner than seasons end.
We simply can't replace him with like for like quality if we do let him go, Amor or Flower would get close but they don't have his physical presence.
What worries me is that next year we could end up having to replace both Dudson and Mossop (I'm not convinced his body will keep fronting up year in year out) and I'm sorry on our budget that's just not possible.

I think he was just injured in the warm up and Watson has always refused to talk about injuries. Hope it is nothing more.
