I went to pick up some tickets first thing this morning and noticed the New Aldi has soon gone up, You can Guarantee the'll Have signs put up as you walk onto Stadium property " Only Poorer quality beers and more expensive ones bought on site allowed" The'll be searching supporters for the Decent Beers and cider they sell at the Allbrecht brothers shop

One thing that worries me about the new Aldi is potential impact on traffic. Ok so there should only be a maximum couple of hundred customers in there at any one time time but even so it'll add to the match day footfall.
Having said that, always handy to have somewhere to grab some cheap grub if you don't want to stop at the Barley Farm or eat the overpriced stadium junk.

We've only four home games Scheduled for a Friday night The last one is 20th March and then it's all Sunday's and a Few Saturday games. Most Supermarkets close on around 4pm on a Sunday, I believe the Store will open end of February-Beginning of March, So possibly won't add to the traffic too much.

Along with another Aldi at the next junction, the new Lidl at the old Brown Cow site and another new Lidl slated to open on West 1 my guess is the impact will be minimal as we've gone from feast to famine. Do wonder how they will police things parking wise, most stores give you 2 hours parking to do your shop, if we kick off at !5;00 on a Sunday and the store closes at !6:00 it will be pretty much impossible to monitor.

One of our local Aldis has camera control on the car park, so can time you in and out, and a few in-store terminals behind the till to log your reg as proof you've been in

Oh and can't wait for the 1st home game at Old Trafford when the Metro is open, that'll be just the odd few 1000 more cars parked at the TC.
