I'd feel a lot better if we found out Wigan had tapped him up and he got out of the deal that way.
I do know a family member offered to make up the difference between the Wigan and Salford wages, they saw just how good the club, fans and city were for him.

Just had another peek at the Wigan boards - the longer this goes on the more convinced they are that he isn’t coming. Almost feel sorry for them!

Absolute comedy gold on the Wigan forum, someone posted this morning that they wish Tony Clubb ‘clocked him a bit harder’. I hope Jacko sees all this.

Up to 19 pages and counting on the Pies forum I read a Comment on a forum Not RL Fans. That He isn't even planning to live in Wigan He's staying in Salford Quays (If he Actually comes back) The Poster seemed to believe it was Paradise on earth. I suppose it is if you like Pies, Sure he lives Roe Green/Worsley way so that's not accurate. Was talking to someone earlier connected with Salford and they say he knew pretty much straight away he'd made a mistake and that he was more than tapped up before Wigan were allowed. Sadly though he does intend honouring his Wigan contract. |

I love Jacko and he will be a Salford legend as to how he helped the club. However, that ship has passed and we will never be able to afford his like again. Let's get behind the team and park this and support Watto and the team moving forward

I honestly think we will see Jackson in a Salford shirt again but at the opposite end of his career.
I'm more worried about Joey being looked at by the NRL impossible to loose both him and Hastings in consecutive seasons without a significant impact on performance.

I'm more worried about Joey being looked at by the NRL impossible to loose both him and Hastings in consecutive seasons without a significant impact on performance. Obviously I’d prefer him to stay but at least we have options at hooker and a 17 year old prospect in the reserves. With Hastings we had no backup whatsoever. |

He was second choice under MK so I never thought of him as being on big money. He might be getting decent offers in May though so he’d still cost us to keep. |
