The only time we've won there was the First game of RL Played there in December 2008 In a Friendly. I heard that we may be playing Swinton away as well at Sale FC.

We usually have a Swinton friendly at some point. For some reason we seem to have had Wigan friendlies the last few years also.

Even though the Saints friendly in Valencia fell through would it not make sense to just have it over here instead? That being said, as we’ll be playing them in an extra game at Magic Weekend we might be sick of the sight of them by the end of the season.

Didn't we win there in a friendly when we first signed a load of players in the Koukash era? Don't think we've won in the league or cup there though, the last league visit being especially depressing. Looking forward to a few friendlies anyway, can't beat a bit of rugby on a freezing Sunday in January to dust off the cobwebs! |

I lived in Sale for 3/4 years a decade or so ago and used to play darts for Sale Rugby Club on Wednesday nights. Had some cracking piss ups down there and the annual varsity match between Mcr Uni & Mcr Met was always well attended by a bevvie of hot ladies!😋 Got a few half decent local boozers nearby so would defo be a decent trip out. |
